Articulation Chart
The following benefits apply to graduates of NOVA transfer (A.A. and A.S.) degree programs. In some cases, however, they do not apply to General Studies A.S. graduates. In general, NOVA students must meet application deadlines. The agreements typically cover admission to the university, but not to the college or program of choice. Although they usually stipulate that graduates covered by the agreement will be considered to have met lower division general education requirements, graduates may still have to take certain lower level courses that are program-specific prerequisites for upper division courses.
All articulation agreements are college-wide; agreements may not specify that they apply only to students of particular NOVA campuses although they may apply to students in specific programs. Some agreements listed are made with the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) rather than NOVA in particular.
