The Advanced Standing Committee reviews all requests for advanced standing and develops recommendations for acceptance and course credit equivalencies in conjunction with the faculty and in accordance with college policy.
Recommendations for action are submitted to the Curriculum Committee through the Associate Vice President for Academic Services and, if approved, to the President through the Executive Vice President of Academic and Student Services. Appointments are for staggered two-year terms. The chair of the committee is elected annually at the first meeting of the year.
