Partnerships
NOVA is committed to developing educational collaborations in the U.S. and abroad to provide new learning opportunities for faculty, staff and students. These partnerships are usually funded by grant money.
SySTEMic Solutions
SySTEMic Solutions is a collaborative effort between school divisions, higher education institutions, and employers to meet the critical need for scientists, engineers and technicians, so that by the year 2015 there will be more than 3,000 students preparing for STEM careers.
NoVaHealthFORCE
NoVAHealthForce is an alliance of private sector, government, community and education leaders who's goal is to develop a business-driven, sustainable strategy to address the Northern Virginia health care worker shortage.
NOVASTARTALK
NOVASTARTALK, a project of the National Security Language Initiative's STARTALK program, is a modular workshop designed by NOVA to help teachers integrate technology tools and 21st century standards-based language pedagogy in less commonly-taught language (LCTL) classrooms.
U.S. - South Africa Partnership for Skills Development
The U.S. - South Africa Partnership for Skills Development program supports the South Africa Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) to improve economic growth and private sector competitiveness, and workforce development by strengthening the capacity of the Further Education and Training (FET) colleges and increasing the educational and employment outcomes for the country's youth.
