I’m a Business Administration major at NOVA’s Annandale Campus, but I would like to become an Accounting major when I transfer to a four year college. My counselor advised me to major in Business Administration because it will allow me to transfer the credits I already have and use them towards a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

I was recently selected by a faculty member at NOVA to attend President Obama’s Youth Town Hall Meeting. After going through a preliminary interview process, I was contacted by MTV to be a part of the studio audience and ask the President a question. Due to time constraints, I didn’t get the chance to ask my question, but I did get to meet and shake hands with President Obama. It was an unforgettable moment.

There are a lot of opportunities for students at NOVA. I play soccer and I work for the Student Activities Office helping to organize clubs and various other events for students. I’m happy that I chose NOVA. It was my first step towards a better life.
