About the Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer

The Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer serves as the institution’s chief operations officer reporting to the President and assuming a strategic role in the overall management of the College. The VP and CAO has primary responsibility for non-financial administrative functions including College Enterprises, Emergency Management, Facilities Planning and Support Services, Human Resources, Police, and Purchasing.

Overseeing development and implementation of relevant policies and procedures, and working closely with the President and other cabinet officers, the VP and CAO will participate in the overall strategic planning and management structure.

Working with the President, the VP and CAO will develop innovative, customer-service oriented initiatives to enhance internal effectiveness and efficiency in all operations functions needed to achieve NOVA’s mission and the goals of the College’s strategic plan, NOVA 2015: Gateway to the American Dream.

Mr. Tony Bansal currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer.
