“Look what the light is doing ...”

Those are the words that friends and family hear me say more than any other. Photography has always been a passion and it seems to consume my attention more and more, even when I don’t have a camera in hand. Fortunately, living in the Northern Virginia area provides me with countless shooting opportunities: Tall mountain ranges, rolling farmland, tiny harbor towns, and bustling city streets are all within a short drive. Watching the way Mother Nature casts light on these scenic views is a gift for any photographer. Finding a way to capture that light is my reward.
