Nature, primarily forest, has been the subject of my drawings for many years. At some point I started using landscape as a background for images of wild animals superimposed over it. The concept of landscape drawing serving as a “Lascaux wall” for animal images has been coming to life gradually, and more recently I began to translate this idea into multi-media work, including printmaking. - Elzbieta Sikorska |
