Ohia Series
September 24 - October 19, 2007
This series
of prints was produced during a residency on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Each
hand-pressed monotype is a representation of the hardy Ohia tree that thrives
all over the island—even in the lava fields. Some prints highlight the tree’s
sundry visual forms while others are renderings of its
lehua blooms.
