General Information

During the 2010-2011 academic year, NOVA served

• more than 75,000 students in credit courses
• more than 24,000 students in non-credit courses
• approximately 200,000 individuals participate in community activities on our campuses

Our Students

NOVA is home to students who come to us from many backgrounds. Our international student population (20%) represents more than 180 different countries. Our Faculty

More than 600 full-time faculty and 700 staff serve our students at NOVA. On average, 1,300 part-time faculty serve our students at NOVA.

Curricula of the College are approved by the College Board and by the State Board. The two-year associate degree programs are also approved by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV).
